Your gift can help Ministry with Community. Here’s how:
- By giving to the annual fund, which supports our programs and operations.
- By giving in memory of people who have touched your life – or to honor special people, birthdays or events.
- By giving to one of our endowment funds at the Kalamazoo Community Foundation:
- The Ministry with Community Endowment Fund
- The Ministry with Community Carole E. Hawk Member Assistance Fund
- The Sister Mary Bader, csj Endowment Fund
Remember Ministry with Community through planned giving:
- By naming Ministry with Community in your will.
- By naming Ministry with Community as a beneficiary on your life insurance policy.
These gifts will sustain your giving after you are gone. Gifts to Ministry with Community are eligible for a special State of Michigan tax credit of up to $400 for married couples; $200 for individuals.
For your information: Since Ministry with Community (“MwC”) is a shelter for homeless people, your donation of $400 may only cost approximately $144 after taxes and credits! Additionally, you can make a $400 donation to the Kalamazoo Community Foundation (earmarked for MwC) for the same net cost. That’s $800 for the benefit of MwC with the approximate net cost of only $288 to you! Please ask your tax consultant for details and consider joining our “400/800 Club” this year.
Your gift will help benefit those served by the organization. If you have questions, see your attorney or estate planner.
